I'm just an extremely self-conscious amateur philosopher/poet who has picked up photography and sketching as a hobby.
Suggestions to improve my photos are welcome. Suggestions for titles are welcome.
A few quotes I've enjoyed:
"One person's worth is not decided by that person, but by the people around them who know them well enough to judge them." (The Blind and the Unseeing by Stunning Sunset)
"In the midst of life we are in death." [And Then There Were None (also published as Ten Little Indians) by Agatha Christie]
"Courage is not conquering fear for yourself but refusing to succumb to fear for a reason that surpasses yourself. That…My work is more important than my body. If my ideals could be so easily tossed aside, I would be better off dead." (The Blind and the Unseeing by Stunning Sunset)
“‘When in doubt, we follow our hearts. Words can be false, images and sounds can be manipulated. But this…’ He tapped his chest, over his heart. ‘This is always true.’” (The Enchantress by Michael Scott)
"The most common lie is that which one lies to himself; lying to others is relatively an exception." (Friedrich Nietzsche)
"We all wear masks and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing some of our own skin." (André Berthiaume)
